Tour Description

DAY 1: SHIMLA TO LAST VILLAGE – CHITKUL / SANGLA
• On the first day pickup from Airport or Railway Station.
• Drive through the mountains, via Kufri, Narkanda along the Indo-Tibetan highway to Sangla valley.
• It’s approx. 6 hours’ drive through the mountains, along the Indo-Tibetan highway.
• Stopover at Karcham dam, located between Karcham & Wangtoo Village.
• Check-in to your accommodation.
• Evening Leisure
• Dinner & overnight stay.

DAY 2: SANGLA – LAST VILLAGE, CHITKUL
• Post Breakfast, start your day sightseeing to Chitkul.
• Pit Stop at another quaint village Rackham enroute. This village blooms pink during summer due to the buckwheat plantation around.
• The magnificent beauty of Chitkul provide a clear view of the Mt Kinnaur Kailash
• Visit Kamru Fort which overlooks apples and apricot orchard with a view of snow-shrouded mountain ranges
• Visit the Bering Nag temple and Sangla Buddhist temple.
• Dinner & Overnight Stay at Sangla.

DAY 3: SANGLA / CHITKUL TO KALPA
• Post breakfast, check-out from hotel.
• Drive to Kalpa
• Enroute visit Reckong Peo Market (Dist. Headquarter of Kinnaur)
• On arrival, Check-in to your accommodation
• Evening leisure at Kalpa.
• Enjoy panoramic views of the Mt Kinner Kailash Range.
• Dinner & Overnight Stay.

DAY 4: KALPA DAY AT LEISURE
• Enjoy the sunrise over Kinner Kailash Peaks.
• Post breakfast, first place to visit Kalpa Suicide Point
• Narayan Nagini Temple, Hu-BU-Lan-Kar Monastery
• Evening leisure at Kalpa.
• Dinner & Overnight Stay

DAY 5: TO SHIMLA DROP (225 Kms, Approx. 6:00 Hours)
• Enjoy the sunrise over Kinner Kailash Peaks.
• It’s time to go back home.
• Post breakfast, check-out from the hotel and return journey back to Shimla.
• Drop at Shimla.
• Tour ends here with happy memories….))))

Exclusions

• Medical | Travel Insurance.
• Any cost related to any kind of unforeseen circumstances including medical assistance, medical emergencies and acts of God.
• Expenses caused by factors beyond our control like rail and flight delays, due to natural calamities like, landslides, road blockage, snowfall etc., vehicle mal-functions, political disturbances etc.
• Meals in Transit, any beverages or any meals that are not mentioned in the itinerary.
• Camera fees, any entrance fees, room heater and guide charges.
• Any Personal expenses such as telephone calls, laundry, any beverages, tips and porter-age, etc.
• Any accommodation, activities or transfers other than what is mentioned in the itinerary.
• Anything that is not mentioned in the above list of inclusions.
• On hills Ac will not work.

Policies

Payment Policy:

45 or more days before departure: 20%

Between 30 to 44 days before departure: 60%

Between 15 to 29 days before departure: 100%

The booking stands liable to be canceled if 100% payment is not received less than 10 days before the Date of Travel.

Cancellation Policy:

30 or more days before departure: 25%

Between 20 to 29 days before departure: 50%

Between 10 to 19 days before departure: 100%

ALL CANCELLATIONS MUST BE BY EMAIL, ONLY DURING OFFICE HOURS & MUST BE ACKNOWLEDGED BY OUR STAFF IN WRITING. There is no refund on any unutilized service.

Flight Tickets:
100% Amount of flight tickets at the time of flight booking.
Any rescheduling, cancellation, and refunds of flight tickets shall be as per respective airlines rules.

Rescheduling:
In case you are unable to travel as planned and need to reschedule your date of travel:

Before 15 Days from the Date of Travel – One-time Complementary.
Within 15 Days from the Date of Travel – The cost of rescheduling needs to be paid by the guest subject to amendment charges from hotels and transporters.

Must Carry:

Authentic Government ID Card

Comfortable warm clothing like woolen socks, cap, fleece jackets or warmers, down jacket, toiletries.

Sunscreen & lip balm, Good U/V protection sunglasses

Personal Medicines (if any) & few medicines for altitude sickness (a must)

Kindly Note:
Access to high altitude regions might be closed in winters due to heavy snowfall. So visit to these locations depends on weather conditions. In such cases, we will look for best possible available alternatives.

We reserve right to change any schedule in interest of safety, comfort and general wellbeing. Numerous factors such as weather, road conditions, physical ability of travellers etc may cause itinerary change.

Important Information:
Please bring trekking shoes or very good sports shoes for hikes & treks.
